- GNSS output settings should be set up to reference the frame and location you are to be working in.
- Inside Trimble Mobile Manager, navigate to the “GNSS Configuration” menu.
- If you are using a DA2, the default “GNSS Correction Source” should be set to “Auto”.
- If a different type of receiver is being used, or a manual connection to a network is required you can change this menu to “Custom Local” Then fill in the required NTRIP protocols and Server information.
- With the correction source set, you can now configure your GNSS output settings.
- If you are unsure of your Detection mode, this should be set to “Auto” and the Trimble corrections hub will assume your location and position for the GNSS output.
- To manually configure this output, click the detection mode box, and press “Select List”.
- A list will appear containing the frames compatible with the Trimble Mobile Manager. Scroll down the list and select the frame that you want to work with.
- By press the “Geoid” box, you will be able to manually configure the Geoid you will be using.
(Note It is best practice to keep the Geoid and Frame the same configuration. IE: if you are working with a AusGeoid2020 your frame should be GDA2020, whereas if you are working with a AusGeoid09 your frame should be GDA94.)
- Frames and Geoids will need to be set up depending on the conditions and expectations of the site that you are working in.
- Once the GNSS settings have all been set, you can now connect your receiver into Trimble Mobile Manager.(Note: Changing the GNSS settings while the DA2 is connected, will result in the DA2 being disconnected)
