If your controller gets stolen or smashed know that your data is safely backed up in the cloud!

1.  Log into Trimble Connect with your Trimble ID by pressing the person icon in Trimble Access:
   
   
   
2. Select the cloud settings (steps 2 and 3 are a one time setup):
   
   
   
3. Turn on "Automatically upload the current project" button. Check the boxes that apply to you. Press Accept.
   
   
   
4. The job needs to be associated to a cloud project. So if you are using connect just for this feature, in Trimble Access when you create a new project check "Create cloud project".
   

Retrieving the data via Connect Web

1. To retrieve the data go to Trimble Connect and log in with your Trimble ID. This can be done on a PC or a data collector.
2. Select your Project.
3. In settings > extensions , enable the field data extension:
   
4. Select Field Data
   
5. Select the job you wish to recover and press download all.
