Bluetooth Connection to Trimble Access

S Series instruments are equipped with Bluetooth. If you have a connection issue via Radio then a Bluetooth connection may help you albeit at a reduced range. 

1. Turn on your Total Station
2. Press Enter to go into Setup/Level.
   
3. Press Enter again to go into Setup.
   
4. Use the down arrow to scroll to Bluetooth settings and press the Enter button to select it.
   
5. Press the down arrow to select Next and then press the Enter button to turn ON Bluetooth. 
   
6. Press the down arrow to select Set and then press Enter to store the setting.
   
7. Open Trimble Access
8. Go to Main Menu > Settings > Connections
   
9. Select the Bluetooth tab and press the Search key.
   
10. Your Total Stations serial number will appear in the Discover devices panes. Select the total station and press Pair.
    
11. Change the device type to "Connect to conventional instrument". Press Accept.
    
12. Press Accept.
    
13. The total station will automatically connect to Trimble Access.
