S Series Radio/Connection Issues

If using a Windows Data Collector search for EMPOWER Hub in the windows search box.

If using a TSC5 search for EMPOWER Hub in the google search at the top of your screen then select it from the "from your apps".

Once you are in EMPOWER Hub:

Check for the green tick. This indicates the connection the EM120 Radio is successful on that port.

Select "Settings" (three dots)

Information about the radio will be able for viewing.

Tap  

Select "Close"

Tap Instrument icon

Tick on "VX/S Series total station, FOCUS 50"

Select " Radio settings"

Check the radio settings on the front panel of the instrument and enter in the Radio channel and Network ID in Access (Radio Settings)

Select "Options"

Check that Internal Radio is selected and click "Accept".

Radio Version and Serial Number will appear if radio is recognised by the software.

Click "Accept"

Trimble Access will search for the instrument.

Instrument is successfully connected and you are ready to survey.
