A template makes it faster and easier to create jobs with the same settings. Create a template with the job properties configured as required and then create jobs from the template.
NOTE: Templates are used only to import a set of job properties as you create the job. Editing or deleting a template has no effect on jobs previously created from the template.
Tap and . The Templates screen shows the default templates provided with the software and any templates you have created.
Select Settings / Templates
The Templates screen shows the default templates provided with the software and any templates you have created.
Tap New
Enter the template name
To create the template from another template or the last used job, select the template or Last used job in the Copy from field.
The properties from the selected template or job are copied into the job. Edit the properties as required.
This example will be setup fro GDA2020 MGA Zone 56
Select "Scale: 1.0000000"
Select "Select From Library"
Select the drop down for System.
Select Australia/GDA2020
Select the zone (this example is Zone 56), whether there there a geoid and project height (approx height where you are located)
Once these details are selected, select "Enter" and "Store"
Edit the properties as required.
To define or change the job properties, tap the appropriate button. Tap:
- Coord. sys. to choose the coordinate system for the job.
- Units to select the units and formats for numerical values.
- Layer manager to link point files and map files to the job.
- Feature library to associate a feature library with the job.
- Cogo settings to set the coordinate geometry settings for the job.
- Additional settings to set additional settings for the job.
- Media file button to link media files to the job or to points in the job.

If required, enter Reference, Description and Operator details, and any Notes.
Check the coordinate order. in Aus this is normally set to E, N, EL
Select "Meters"
Select "Accept"
When all settings are correct, select "Accept"
A new job can be created and
To Import a template from another job
Tap Import.
In the Select job screen, select the job. Tap OK

Enter the Template name. Tap Accept.
The new template appears in the Templates screen.
This template will appear in the template drop down.
