To be able to use Web Maps the job needs to be on Grid and you need an internet connection.

Adding a WMS/WFS to Trimble Access
- Create a job on grid.
- Select Layer Manager
- Select the "Web Maps" softkey
- Press the "New" softkey.
- Enter the details of the web map you are using.
- Press Accept.
- Select the appropriate settings for you service then press Next.
- If you are using a WMS then you will go straight back to the Map screen. If you are using a WFS then you will need to select the layers you wish to download. Once you have selected the required layers press "Next".
- Pan the map to the area that you wish download data for, checking the scale. Press Start.
- The query results will be displayed. Press Save.
- You will be brought back to the map screen. In the Layer Manager makes sure to turn on your newly downloaded web maps. Remembering the WFS layer can be selectable and staked out from.
Expanding the WFS Download Area
If your current WFS download doesn't reach your work area, then the following steps will show you how to easily get more data.
Below you can see the downloaded WFS data as depicted by the blue dots. The red dots are from the WMS.
- Select Web Maps from the Layer Manager.
- From the "Name" drop down select the WFS you want to expand the data for. Press "Next"
- Your current active layers will already be selected on by default. If you want to add more layers then click away. Once you have selected your required layers press Next.
- Pan and zoom to the required download area then press "Start"
- Press Save
- Turn on the WFS layer.
